Muscat Steel Industries was established in 2009, with our first step of setting up 180,000 TPA capacity rolling mill, located at Rusayl Industrial Estate, the manufacturing hub of Muscat. Within this short span of time, MSI group has managed to achieve a prominent role in the steel industry and also became a force to be reckoned with in the Oman Construction Industry. MSI believes in hard work and dedication which leads us to the path of success.

Our sincere gratitude and appreciation towards the encouraging policies and support by the Government under the benevolent guidance of our visionary leader, HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said, for inspiring us to grow in this competitive world of construction.

Today MSI is an ISO 9001:2008 certified and CARES approved company with a capacity to produce 400,000 tpa rebar and 250,000 tpa billets with cut & bend facilities up to 100,000 tpa. We are well-known for high level of quality service, which drives MSI to achieve the top position as rebar supplier to the various projects in the Sultanate. Muscat Steel supplies around 70 to 80% of the total steel which is being consumed by the top contractors like CCC, Galfar, Al Turky, L&T, SP-CCC jv, Carillion Alawi, Ferrovial Agroman Federic Sterling Batco, Bahwan Engineering, Astaldi-Ozkar, STFA-HLG.

We proudly say that we have supplied more than 100,000 tpa steel in a short period of time to the contractors Bethel-Enka-BEC jv, which was used to build the New International Airport MC 3 and it was supplied with cut and bend. Market share of 70-80% in the projects segment which includes land mark projects like BEW packages, Mall of Oman, Bidbid-Sur Road packages are few of an eloquent testimony to the quality and service which MSI stands for. We have maintained our service quality and delivery on time which proves us in the market as one of the prominent companies in the construction industry.

During the second half of 2017, to double its capacity and expand further, MSI started exporting to the neighbouring markets like Bahrain, Kuwait and U.A.E, and our products are accepted with open arms in these markets due to its excellent quality and prompt services.

We continue to supply straight bars as well as cut and bend steel to these markets and are focusing on scaling our exports from 20% to 40% by the end on 2018.
